Bass VI Jaguar
Jaguar Bass V1 Mod-Jag: Strat model Impersonator MV aka modern vintage is a great pickup for the Bass VI, it is dynamic and responsive and it has a noticeably bolder sound than original Fender pickups (and copies) Punk-Jag: Strat model Texas Jalapeno v3 makes a great companion bridge pickup because it has higher output level that balances the loudness of the bridge with middle and neck. It also has great attack characteristics and slightly less treble and it's sound is open and full of piano-mid-tones that agrees with bass and we believe you'll thoroughly enjoy your unique Kinman experience. Tell us which one of the above you'd love to have in the "Notes box" in the Order Form. News: We now include our Custom Molded covers in Warm White, Aged White, Parchment, Gibson Cream and Black as-well-as 2 of our special made replica mounting screws.
Some people will call these noiseless Bass VI pickups but Kinman prefers to describe them correctly as Zero-Hum Bass VI pickups. That's because there are 2 types of noise, Hum which is cancelled in the pickup and Buzz which can only be minimized by shielding the wiring cavities (refer to >Technical >Perfect Guitar >Shielding for newer guitars ** Alnico-K is a unique proprietary rod magnet developed by Kinman in 1985. It is Alnico-5 but has 40% less string pull than Alnico-5 so sustain is longer and there is much less clatter from string crash and no Strat-itis string warble. * Fender, Strat, Jaguar and Jag are registered Trade Marks of Fender Musical Instrument Corp, Inc. Kinman is not associated with FMIC but they kindly permit us to refer to their Trade Marks to describe our products.
